Which job is better SSC CGL or Banking jobs?




After completing graduation, most of the candidates prefer to take SSC or Banking exams to plan their career. These sectors provide a fulfilling and satisfying career option to match the current demands of the modern world. Choosing one of them is a major task.

 It is a recruitment autonomous body appointed by Government of India to appoint personnel at various posts in various Ministries and Departments of Government of India. There are various exams conducted by SSC such as:

(3) SSC (CPO)

Banking Sector
Banking sector appoints personnel through various examining bodies such as IBPS, RRB, SBI, RBI, etc. They hold Common Written Examination every year and on the basis of the performance they forward the candidates to the respective nationalized banks. Generally, banking sector conducts examination three stages such as:
 (1) Preliminary examination
(2) Mains examination

Jobs offered under SSC CGL Exam are:

Jobs offered by banking sector are:
  1. Clerk
  2. Probationary Officer
  3. Specialist Officer
Eligibility criteria for both the exams are graduation.

Level of difficulty of bank exams is higher than SSC CGL exam.
Responsibilities of SSC CGL are limited to the desk work of the employee where as bank employee has to satisfy the dealing summary of the day to the concerned head before leaving the office. Banking sector job is more challenging than SSC CGL job.

Salary of Bank employee is higher than SSC CGL post. The increments are also given faster than SSC CGL Exam. This makes bank job to be more attractive than SSC CGL.
